3. Each team must have 10 players and can submit an 8-member playing squad before every match.

4. All matches at the group stage will be played at 5 overs per inning. The semi-finals, the third-place determiner and the final will have 8 overs per innings.

5. There will be no power-play overs.

6. The format for the tournament will be knockout, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final.

7. PLAYERS IN THE TEAM MUST BE FROM THE SAME COMPANY. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

8. All captains will be handed a team sheet before the start of the match which must be filled out and handed over to the scorers.

9. Once the team sheet is submitted, no changes will be allowed unless there is an unavoidable emergency.

10. Only captains can speak with the umpire regarding any concerns or doubts.

11. Players are requested to carry their company ID/proof of employment to avoid disputes with opponent teams. The organisers may demand additional ID proof if the submitted ID is questionable; in such situations organisers will verify with the player’s department.

12. Captains should ensure their teams maintain the spirit of sportsmanship on the field.

13. Out of respect for the game, bare feet, sandals and jeans are not allowed.

14. The organisers have the right to disqualify any team for misconduct.

15. All tournament rules are subject to change by the organisers and/or the umpires.

16. The organisers are not responsible for any injury to the players. Players are responsible for their own belongings, kits and equipment.

17. Any kind of verbal or physical abuse against competing teams, the organisers, the ground staff or the umpires will lead to disqualification of the team or the player concerned.

18. The decision to change the ball being used lies solely with the umpire officiating the match.

19. Using mobile phones on the field during the match is strictly prohibited. If any player uses a phone, they will be detained from the field for the next 6 balls.

20. The umpires' decisions are final and binding. Umpires can penalise a team or players for a slow over rate and misconduct.

21. It will be assumed that team captains have read all these rules and informed all players on their team about them.

22. If any matters not covered in the tournament rules are in question, the decision of the organisers shall be final and binding on all concerned.

23. The decisions of the organisers on all points related to enforcing the rules of the tournament are final and binding.

24. Any player found intoxicated will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.

Match Play:

1. All teams will be given 20 minutes to complete their allotted overs. If a team goes over their allotted time, they will be penalised one run per every minute lost.

2. A 5-minute break shall be taken between each innings of the match.

3. Each game is to be completed in approximately 40 minutes.

4. The full team must be present 20 minutes before their scheduled time. Teams are required to name their substitute players before the toss.

5. In case of a tie, a super over will be played.

6. If any one team does not report on the field within 10 minutes of their scheduled match time, a walkover will be awarded to the opponents. If both teams are not present, then the match will be considered a cancelled match.

7. At least 7 players are required from each team to start the match. Failure to do so will yield a walkover to the opposition team. The remaining players must arrive within 2 overs. In case of a non-arrival, only the fielded 7 will be allowed to bat.

8. Stumping is not an applicable mode of dismissal on a free hit. Only three types of dismissals are allowed on a free hit – a run-out, a field obstruction and hitting of the ball twice.

Batting:

1. 1 run plus an extra delivery will be awarded to the batting team for every wide and every no-ball.

2. A by-runner will be allowed for an injured batter only after the approval of the captain of the opponent team, the umpires, and the organisers.

3. Innings will be completed at the fall of the 7th wicket; no single batter will be allowed.

Bowling:

1. Only one bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs in an innings, except during the semi-final & the final.

2. During the semi-final & the final:

    • Only one bowler can bowl up to a maximum of 3 overs.
    • Other bowlers can bowl up to a maximum of 2 overs.

3. Bowlers must bowl overarm, except for women bowlers.

4. Bowlers are allowed to bowl one bouncer per over without it being called a no-ball. Unplayable bouncers will be declared wide, and the rules pertaining to wides shall be followed.

5. There will be no LBW decisions. However, leg-byes will be permitted if the batter has attempted a shot.

6. The umpire has the right to call a bowler for chucking, and doing so would result in the ball being declared a no-ball. Two warnings will be given to the bowler and the captain. The third such call against a bowler in the entire series will disqualify the bowler from bowling.

Fielding:

1. A wicket-keeper is compulsory and can bowl.

2. A substitute fielder shall be permitted for injured players. The substitute fielder cannot bowl or bat.

3. 6 fielders must be divided equally on either side of the wicket.

4. Each half of the field must have 3 fielders before a delivery is bowled. Otherwise, it will be called a no-ball without warning.

5. Byes, leg-byes, and overthrows are allowed.
