In all our parks, we have implemented rainwater harvesting techniques, water recycling through sewage treatment plants, water conservation practices, integrated waste management and energy optimization techniques that focus on reduction of overall energy consumption.

Embassy Energy was established with the objective of transitioning electricity consumption from conventional sources to green energy sources. Our venture into the renewable energy business in Karnataka, a 100MW fully operational Solar Power park supplying green energy to Embassy Manyata, Embassy GolfLinks and Embassy TechVillage. Our solar park is designed to avoid 173 mn kg of CO2 annually. We have also installed a 525Kw solar rooftop system at Embassy 247, Mumbai, which has the capacity to offset 0.6 mn kg of CO2 annually. Furthermore, we highly encourage our occupiers to reduce carbon footprint.

We aim to reduce the overall consumption through energy efficiency measures and we endeavour to supply more green power to all our parks in the coming years

We endeavour to adopt a “Zero discharge of wastewater” policy i.e. 100 percent utilisation of water at all our plants to prevent contamination of groundwater and reduce damage to the ecology. Each of our facilities has a role to play in meeting our water use reduction goals. All our facilities try to optimize water consumption and maximize effluent recycle and reuse. We monitor water discharge in volumes released to the environment, sent for treatment, entering products, evaporated, or used for other purposes.

Waste minimization, waste recovery & reuse and scientific disposal of waste are the key approaches adopted by us for all type of wastes, whether hazardous or non-hazardous. We believe that effective waste management is essential for environmental protection and management and we are committed to reducing and effectively managing our waste.

At our parks, we use resources in a responsible way to reduce waste. We ensure that all waste is collected, segregated at the source, stored separately and delivered to authorized waste dealers. Waste produced majorly comprises of hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste and e-waste. The sludge generated from STP is used as fertilizer for plants in the facility. We carry out disposal of hazardous waste through government authorized agencies. The disposition of waste of all types (including non-hazardous), generated or handled at all our facilities, to various approved recycler's/re-user’s, are done strictly as per directives of Central/State Pollution Control Boards and compliance reports are submitted to the authorities
