As part of our ESG strategy to emphasize biodiversity conservation, we undertook diverse initiatives at Embassy TechVillage and Embassy 247.
Embassy TechVillage: Fishpond Development
Our efforts to promote biodiversity extended to building a fish pond on the premises of Embassy TechVillage to assess the impact of aquaculture production systems on local biodiversity and the production of aquatic invertebrates.
As part of this initiative, an existing water body was converted into a fish pond, and a motor was installed to oxygenate the water and provide a clean environment for the fish to thrive. This initiative is expected to increase fish yield and enhance campus biodiversity.
Embassy 247: Seasonal Plantation
At Embassy 247, seasonal plants were planted in the peripheral areas of the campus with the dual objectives of promoting environmental biodiversity and enhancing aesthetic appeal.
This initiative supports natural pollination by attracting butterflies, bees, and birds. It also helps absorb carbon, improve soil health, increase greenery, and mitigate environmental impact.
Additionally, the improved green environment creates a relaxing and pleasant ambience, helping to reduce stress and promote well-being for employees, occupiers, and visitors.
