• All riders will have to bring their own bicycle and helmet or book a rental bicycle (geared & non-geared) at the time of registration. Additionally, every rider will need to bring their own support equipment, water bottle and any other essential riding gear that they may require. Only adult-sized cycles are available for rent. Helmets are compulsory for all riders.
• Only riders who have completed two competitive races in the Pro-Elite category in the past can participate. They need to furnish completion certificates for the same at the time of registration.
• The competitive categories (Pro-Elite and Amateur) will have separate races for Men & Women.
• All riders participating in the race will mandatorily have to register.
• Only those participants who complete entire race will be eligible for race prizes.
• Any participant found to be riding dangerously or found to be violating the safety etiquette of the race will be disqualified.
• There will be ambulances stationed during the race.
• The organisers will not be liable for any damages whatsoever.
• No participant at any time during the race is allowed to ride in the opposite direction of the race route.
• Any rider found without their bicycle and/or their helmet at any time during the race will be disqualified.
• Signages will be placed at clear and easily visible locations during the race.
• Riders should be in position with their bicycles at the start line at least 15 minutes before the designated start time.
• Bicycles used by each rider shall be subject to scrutiny by the race organisers before the start and after the end of the race. The race organisers shall have the right to detain any rider or any bicycle used in the race at any time and their decision in this regard shall be final and binding on all participants.
• No private vehicles will be allowed on the race route at any time.
• Registration is non-transferable.
• The rider must be in possession of the appropriate bib and relevant ID card at the start of all the races and should retain the same in their possession till the end of the race.
• The organisers shall retain the first and last right of refusal/acceptance of participation.
• No medical insurance will be provided to the participants. By registering, it is implied that the organisers are indemnified against any injury or loss of property.
• Any kind of cheating or any misbehaviour with any of the participants during the race, if noticed by the company or any of its affiliates, contractors or sponsors of the event, will lead to disqualification.
• Qualifications of age must be strictly adhered to.

Tickets are sold subject to the following conditions:

• Once sale of the ticket is completed, no exchange of tickets will be made. No refunds will be made except pursuant to event postponement or cancellation and only at the organisers' discretion.
• Entry will be refused if tickets are found to be tampered, counterfeited, and/or not purchased from an authorised point of sale.
• Venue age restrictions and rules apply. No refunds will be made for ignorance of these restrictions.
• The Organisers reserve the right, without refund or compensation, to refuse admission/evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate.
• The Organiser may add, withdraw or substitute artistes and/or vary advertised programmes, event times, seating arrangements, or audience capacity without prior notice.
• The Organisers may use pictures of participants in any live or recorded video display, pictures, publicity material (including social media) or website. By entering the race you give permission for the free use of your name, voice or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion or other account of this event.
• The Organisers may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other causes beyond their reasonable control.
• The Ticket Holder agrees to submit to any searches for prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, alcohol, narcotics, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances.
• The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual event, including any sickness, death, personal injury, loss, damage, or liability.
• Indian law shall govern the sale of all tickets and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bengaluru courts.

All entry fees, related tickets and purchases are non-refundable. No transfers between races or transfer of places to another rider. We do not operate a deferment system.

This is a prize money event. The organisers have the right to revise the prize money if the need arises.

Prize money will only be paid only once the Original ID proof has been produced and verified

Pro-Elite Category
All riders (age 17 and above) who have represented their individual states or UTs at a National level, must compulsorily compete in the Pro-Elite category. If a competitor races in an incorrect category, he/she invites an automatic disqualification. Only riders who have completed two competitive races in the Pro-Elite category in the past can participate. They need to furnish completion certificates for the same at the time of registration. There will be separate races for Men & Women.

Amateur Category
National riders who are 16 and below, can register for the Amateur category.There will be separate races for Men & Women.

• I voluntarily register for Pedal for the Planet 2024 (hereinafter referred to as competition).
• I understand comprehensively and agree with all regulations, rules, requirements and measures instituted by the Pedal for the Planet event Organisers (hereafter referred to as organisers).
• I am in good health condition in which I am fully prepared for the competition (consent letter from a doctor, on their letterhead, to be carried to the venue if the participant has a medical condition), and I am willing to accept the doping test required by the organisers, if necessary.
• I understand comprehensively all potential risks in the competition, and have already prepared precautionary measures based on personal health; I am willing to undertake the full responsibility of all personal emergency risks which occur during the competition, and agree that the organisers do not undertake any compensations and responsibilities of injury, death, or any other forms of loss to participants.
• I agree to accept the first aid and emergency medical treatment provided by the organisers during the competition, and I shall pay the expenditure by myself in accordance with the medical treatment incurred at the hospital.
• I authorise the organisers and designated media for free use of my picture, name, voice and other personal information by the organisation for promotion of the competition.
• I promise that I shall register for the competition based on all my true individual information, and will not transfer my bib number to any others.
• I agree not to deliberately damage, change or mask my bib number before and during the competition.
• I agree to provide valid personal identity documents and information to the organisers for personal status confirmation, and undertake full liability for any issues arising from any false individual documents or information provided.
• I agree to submit to any searches for prohibited items including but not limited to weapons, alcohol, narcotics, controlled, dangerous and/ or illegal substances.
• I agree that the organiser may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop the event due to adverse weather conditions, dangerous situations or any other causes beyond their reasonable control.
• I agree that the decision of the organiser pertaining to the routes, prizes and other event related decisions is final.
• I have fully understood this declaration.

"It is sincerely advised to obtain medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner/doctor allowing you to participate in the event, irrespective of whatever may be your age and in whichever race you may be participating.

Please review the following questions before the Race Day:

• Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor?
• Do you feel a pain in your chest when you do physical activity?
• In the past month, have you had chest pain when you were not doing physical activity?
• Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness?
• Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?
• Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs for your blood pressure or heart condition?
• Are you pregnant?
• Do you have insulin dependent diabetes?
• Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?

If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your doctor before you participate in the race. Please remember that it is not advisable to ride if you have had any sort of virus or fever in the four weeks prior to race day. It is not advisable to run with an injury. If there is a risk that you may blackout during the race (e.g. if you suffer from fits), please put a black cross on the front of your number. The organisers and sponsors/partners of the event will not be responsible for any injury, of whatsoever nature, that may be so caused, by your participation in the Race and the participants shall fully indemnify the company or any of its affiliates, contractors or sponsors of the event to the said effect.
